10 Bible Verses For Thanksgiving and Gratitude
Each year it is important to reflect on what God has done in your life with thanksgiving and gratitude. We should enter His courts with thanksgiving and praise daily but it’s especially important for our children to see what a good God we have.
Thanksgiving and Gratitude
The Bible mentions several times that we are to be thankful, to give thanks. One Bible verse even says that it is God’s will for us.
When we are giving thanks, we are shifting from what we don’t have to what we do have. From lack, to contentment.
The enemy will want to swallow you up in thoughts of wishful thinking. Be careful of those and take every thought captive, good or bad like scripture says.
Keeping your eyes on the Lord and what He has done for you, pulled you out of, freed you from etc. will keep you walking in freedom.
Don’t let the bondage of comparison get you down.
Jesus is enough!

Practical Application for Thanksgiving
These scriptures can be used for ourselves as mothers to show our thanksgiving to God as well as our children so they see how marvelous He is.
You can use them as a lesson leading up to Thanksgiving week or use them year round as a way to remind yourself of the goodness of God.
Another way to use these is to pray them. Pray them out loud as a praise to God, your Heavenly Father. Pray them over your family and your children.
King David wrote many praises and thanks to God in the book of Psalms but our praises aren’t limited to his. You have your own praises and worship to offer the Lord. What will you write? What will you tell Him?
