How to Achieve Biblical Motherhood.
Many have often wondered what the biblical definition of motherhood is. Mothers, have an eternal impact on the lives of their children. In this post let’s dive in to what the Bible says about motherhood, our role in society and the impacts we can make for future generations.
Achieving Biblical Motherhood: What the Bible Says about Mothers.
Mothers, and even spiritual mothers, have such an enormous role in the Kingdom. To guide, correct, train up, encourage, teach, disciple, lead, and so on. These traits that God has given to us as a parent, a mother, is paramount to the lives of our children that will effect future generations.
To understand your role and achieve biblical motherhood God’s way, you must understand who God is and know His word.
God’s Design in Motherhood.
In Deuteromy 6, it is clear what our job is as mothers. To keep God’s word in our hearts, to teach the word to our children throughout our day, daily. To know God’s word is to know Him. We must as Christian mothers, teach our kids the word of God. Not by memorizing the verses for the sake of repeating them back, but to help them understand what they mean and the importance of them.
I tell my children all the time that when we are memorizing scripture it is because we are to hide God’s word in our hearts. We use the word as the sword, and other armor to deflect our fleshly motives and the enemies attacks.
If we do not know the word and if it is not hidden in our hearts, we leave ourselves vulnerable to attack.
To achieve biblical status as a mother, it is so important that you teach the word to your children. If you are born again, this will come easy for you, you only need to ask Holy Spirit to guide and direct you and He will.

It is time we step up to the plate and do what we need to do in this season of our lives. To die to ourselves, our selfish ambitions, greed for more things, and focus on Kingdom and storing treasures in Heaven and not in this earth.
I am by no means saying you can not work. There are so many things we as mamas can do while we stay home with our babies and children. Opportunities to work part time while keeping our children the focus of our lives under God and our husband. But the key is, if we choose to work at all, we must not let that hinder the raising up of our children. And always seek the Lord before you begin any new venture.

We may have the most unflattering job at times in this world but for the Kingdom, it is glamorous!
Never forget the impact you have on letting God use you as a vessel to shape the next generation through you and your family.
