There are many benefits of trusting God! When we put things in His hand, He moves! In this post be encouraged by these scriptures that will affirm the why and the how to trust in the Lord our God.

Did you know that when you are worrying, you are actually saying to God, I have this. You worry because things are out of “your control”.

If you place control back into His hands, and trust fully, the worry will go away. It has to. Worry and trust do not go hand in hand. It’s either one or the other. You are worrying or you are trusting.

The bible says for us not to lean on our own understanding of things. God’s thoughts are higher than our own thoughts.

There are so many benefits of trusting God such as joy and peace. True joy and peace can only come from Him.

When we are trusting, we can’t be worried about what is going on around us.

The benefits to trusting in God are numerous like David says in Psalm 103:2.

The 8 verses above mention that when we trust Him, He will make our paths straight. We will also have prosperity, hope, and confidence. There are more scriptures that tell of the beauty in a relationship with Father God and trusting in Him.

A relationship! Religion is not the same. We must partner with God in all we do and not lean on our own will, our own way of doing things. His plan was to be our guide and we the vessel. To reach the masses with the gospel.

We have to do the work as Christ followers to bring more people into the Kingdom.

What kind of witness are you revealing to the lost if you claim to be a child of God but are constantly worrying, not putting the control where it needs to be? Just something to think about.

Surrender all.
