10 Uplifting Back to School Bible Verses for Homeschoolers.
When it comes to starting up lessons again, and getting in the groove of things, these 10 bible verses will help to ground you and get you through the first weeks of back to school.
It is that time of year again! Whether you school year round or start back each year in the Fall, new materials and lesson plans will abound. Take this time to ground yourself in the word before beginning your new year.
When we abide in Jesus, His word tells us we can do ALL things.
That means on the days when our kids aren’t willing to do their lessons, the house is in chaotic disarray, or your plans get interrupted by sickness in the home, you will remain steadfast and with a solid foundation.
You will withstand anything that comes your way.
This is so important for not just us mother teachers, but for our children students as well. We are the anchor in the home. The one who decides how each day will go. If we are not abiding, well, we will lose all peace.
Enjoy these 10 Back to School Bible Verses to start your year!
#1 ABIDE
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. John 15:4
#2 JOY
I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! John 15:9-11
#3 Foundation
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Matthew 7:24
#4 Wisdom
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true wisdom. All who obey his commandments will grow in wisdom. Praise him forever! Psalm 111:10
#5 Strength
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
#6 Speak Life
Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. Ephesians 4:29
#7 Prayer
Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. Colossians 4:2
#8 Spiritual Fruit
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! Galations 5:22-23
#9 A Promise
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galations 6:9
#10 Hope
When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Psalm 94:19
