Our days can get so busy and overwhelming.
And for most of us, we aren’t busy with things we shouldn’t be doing but the things we should be.
Raising our children, keeping the home, educating our children, cooking, cleaning, the list goes on. I can remember with my first baby how demanding my days were of me.
It was so hard to just find the quiet time in my day to just sit at His feet.

Holy Spirit said this to me as I was nursing my baby as he was sleeping.
He said, “Sometimes spending time with me looks like this.”
He (God) is in EVERY moment. We don’t have to wait until the kids are asleep, or the perfect time for complete stillness in the house.
He meets us right where we are. Our walk with Jesus is about a relationship with our Creator. Not a religious checklist to follow.
Meet with Him where you are mama. As your children grow, let them join you! Being able to witness this will help them grow in their own relationship with the Lord one day.
Praise WITH them.
Read the Word WITH them.
Pray aloud WITH them.

Talk to Him throughout your day, not just an hour while the baby is asleep. He deserves more than just an hour of our time. There is much opportunity to chat with the Lord while doing the dishes or folding laundry.
To end, I will say, quiet time with the Lord is so precious, so do not forsake that. The secret place is so so important.
But also, don’t go on without talking and spending time with Him just because you can’t seem to get away long enough. Don’t strive for the perfect moment.
He’s right there waiting. ❤️
